As you are out and about in the Arboretum, it is a great time to visit Court 26 on the Medford Campus to enjoy the allee of Amelanchier × grandiflora “Autumn Brilliance,” also known as Serviceberry. The blossoms are in full tilt, with the berries to follow in June. The birds love this tree for its delectable fruit and it makes a wonderful understory tree for small gardens, or borders.
